Foundations to asana (posture), pranayama (breath), & meditation. In this slow paced class the goal is to learn something new about you and your practice. Get ready to link your breath to each action & find yourself in a meditative state.

Yin

(75 minutes)

A meditative approach with a physical focus on targeting the deep connective tissues of the body and the fascia that covers the body. Yin yoga is meant to help regulate the flow of energy throughout the entire body

A gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting in a chair or standing while using the chair for support. This practice promotes relaxation, reduces stress, & improves mental clarity.

MEET THE YOGA INSTRUCTOR

Experienced Yoga Instructor in Hoboken, NJ

Isa Brand is a yoga teacher (RYT-235), ACSM exercise physiologist, EPTG Admin, and local to Hoboken. Isa first fell in love with yoga in 2017 while studying exercise science at Ithaca College. There, she deepend both her passion for and understanding of exercise.

Isa’s experiences range from training individual clients in a gym-setting, to teaching twenty-six clients in a hot yoga room. She also has various teaching styles from a dynamic Vinyasa-style to a deep concentrated Yin style.

No matter the time, place, and style of class, Isa is determined to share with others the importance of consistently engaging in self care. Isa strives to create a sense of equanimity in her daily life, and brings an attitude of self-discovery and resilience to every class.

In June 2021, Isa started her role at EPTG, and as soon as she was hired she expressed her devotion to teaching yoga. Now she is using the EPTG space to teach private sessions and classes throughout the week, what a dream come true. Drop in to her next one and feel free to ask questions during your practice- stay curious !
